The Summer school: Eclipsing Binaries and Asteroseismology

The Summer school: Eclipsing Binaries and Asteroseismology, took place between September 26 and 30 in 2022 at Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias at La Palma, Spain. The format of the school was hybrid and it aimed at students and young postdocs interested in the synergies of space missions and ground-based follow-up surveys. The in-person attendance was limited to 14 participants, also partly due to COVID rules still in place. However, the main reason for limited online participation was the work in groups where students attended hands-on sessions. In total, 10 external and 4 internal participants from 9 different European countries and Chile. The lectures were presented by 11 established scientists from different European research institutes. The scientific lectures were accompanied by the telescope time proposal preparation and by scientific writing lectures. The summer school was a conclusion of the IO1 as one of the important aspects was the training of the early career researchers, so that they can later obtain better jobs. The school was successful and more detailed info can be found on the web:iacerasmus.github.io/ERASMUS2022/
